Elsie M. Bigelow, age 81, of St. Louis, MI passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Central Florida Regional Hospital, Sanford, FL.

     There will be no services as Elsie's wishes were to be cremated and have her cremains buried at Prichard Cemetery. 

     Elsie was born in Gratiot County, MI on December 11, 1938, the daughter of Earl and Leona M. (Mason) Nelson. On March 17, 1957 Elsie married Melvin Bigelow; he survives her.

     Elsie is also survived by three daughters: Mary Gross and Duane Babcock of Clermont, FL; Susan Bigelow of Shepherd, MI; Jill and Todd Madary of Lake Jackson, TX; son Melvin G. Bigelow of Vassar, MI; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren with one more on the way; and sister Sylvia and Henry Bajena of St. Louis, MI.  In addition to her parents, Elsie was preceded in death by great granddaughter Natalee Sleeseman, son in law Don Gross, and 11 siblings: Raymond Nelson, Mae Berry, William Nelson, Sherman Nelson, Virgil Nelson, Vina Moore, Letha Bush, Ada Wiseman, Alta Jean Feith, Betty Rozen, Edith Marshall and Leota Eular.
