<p><strong>Franklin Bruce Orick, age 79 of Oneida, TN went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, TN. Born in the Low Gap Community on May 17, 1941, he was the son of the late Johnie Orick and Hester Willoughby Orick. He was the owner/operator of Big &ldquo;O&rdquo; Auto Parts for 25 years and was an avid racecar driver. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend.</strong></p> <p><strong>In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia &ldquo;Jenny&rdquo; Neely; father and mother-in-law, Benjamin and Opal Neely; brothers-in-law, Virgil Neely and John M. Thompson; sister-in-law, Donna Neely Ray; niece, Lesa Stone; grandson, Chris Strunk; nephew, Kenric Jeffers.</strong></p> <p><strong>He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Bonnie Neely Orick; sons, Keith Orick (Kelly) and Bruce Orick; daughters, Lorene Chitwood (Tim) and Missy Wright (Darek); daughter-in-law, Cindy Orick; grandchildren, Bryan Orick, Chelsey Beets, Josh Orick, Cody Orick, Olivia Freels, Peyton Orick, David Chitwood, Leah Chitwood, Kaley Chitwood, Mari Wright, Andre Terry, Sabrina Insco; 25 great grandchildren; brothers, Paul Orick (Judy), Tony Orick (Karen); sisters, Linda Thompson, Susie Davis (Conrad); brothers-in-law, Fred Neely (Doris), Tony Neely (Ava); special little companion, &ldquo;Bear&rdquo;; very special friends, Kenny and Martha Rigsby; many special nieces, nephews, family and friends.</strong></p> <p><strong>Thank you to Dr. Caparelli for your continued care and friendship. A very special thank you to Dr. Akinbola, Patricia, Christa, Stephanie and Michelle, and all the nurses and staff at Big South Fork Medical Center, your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.</strong></p> <p><strong>A private family graveside service will be on Saturday, November 21, 2020 in the Scott Memorial Gardens in Oneida.</strong></p> <p><strong>With the Health Guidelines in place at this time, we ask that you be mindful of the social distancing measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control. Franklin Bruce Orick, age 79 of Oneida, TN went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, TN. Born in the Low Gap Community on May 17, 1941, he was the son of the late Johnie Orick and Hester Willoughby Orick. He was the owner/operator of Big “O” Auto Parts for 25 years and was an avid racecar driver. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia “Jenny” Neely; father and mother-in-law, Benjamin and Opal Neely; brothers-in-law, Virgil Neely and John M. Thompson; sister-in-law, Donna Neely Ray; niece, Lesa Stone; grandson, Chris Strunk; nephew, Kenric Jeffers.
