<p>David Paul Petitt, 60, of Cambridge, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at Tidal Health Regional Medical in Salisbury.<br /> <br /> David was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on January 29, 1960, &nbsp;and was the son of the late George and Madeline Petitt. &nbsp;For the last 25 years, he has lived in the Delaware - Maryland area. &nbsp;<br /> <br /> David worked as a cook in several restaurants, performed auto body work for Peter Pan buses, worked for Harkins Concrete Construction, and owned and operated a lawn and garden business. &nbsp;<br /> <br /> David is survived by his wife, Grayce Petitt; three sons, Michael, James, and John Petitt, and a daughter, Jessica Andruss, plus six grand children, Collin St. Pierre, Dominick and Frankie Andruss, Ethan, Emily, and Grayson Petitt.<br /> <br /> David is also survived by his brothers George Kenneth (Maria) and Charles (Sharon) and a sister, Debbie McCormack (Wayne) plus an aunt, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Beside his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother and best friend, Patrick Petitt.<br /> <br /> David will be missed by his Massachusetts family, his Maryland family, and his neighborhood family at Crusader Arms Apartments.<br /> <br /> David will be remembered for his kind, &nbsp;tender heart and his willingness to help others. David enjoyed fishing, riding his bicycle, and loved smoking cigarettes.<br /> <br /> A special thanks to the staff at TidalHealth and Anchorage for their care, concern, and support of David during these last weeks.<br /> <br /> Arrangements are being made by St. Michael&rsquo;s Cemetery, 1601 State Street, Springfield, Massachusetts &nbsp;01109.</p>

Obituary

David Paul Petitt, 60, of Cambridge, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at Tidal Health Regional Medical in Salisbury.

David was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on January 29, 1960,  and was the son of the late George and Madeline Petitt.  For the last 25 years, he has lived in the Delaware - Maryland area.  

David worked as a cook in several restaurants, performed auto body work for Peter Pan buses, worked for Harkins Concrete Construction, and owned and operated a lawn and garden business.
