Reynalda F. Aguilar Obituary

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, November, 23 with a rosary at 9:30 a.m. followed with the mass at 10:00 a.m., for Reynalda F. Aguilar of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Aguilar, 101, died November 18, 2020 at her home from natural causes, in Artesia surrounded by her family.

Fr. V.J. will officiate at the services with burial to follow at Twin Oaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jarred Aguilar, Jake Aguilar, Adrian Aguilar, and Roman Aguilar. Honorary pallbearers are all other grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Reynalda was born December 22, 1918 in Roswell, N.M., the daughter to Vicente Flores and Genoveva (Pineda) Flores.

On January 31, 1938, she married the love of her life Francisco Aguilar in Artesia. Together they had seven children. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She would occasionally clean houses and work at the voting polls. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family, and shopping.

She is preceded in death by her husband;a daughter Mary Elizabeth; and a son Stephen George Aguilar.

Survivors include Louisa Baldanado and husband Mike of Belen, Geneva Huertaz and husband Jim Lopez of Los Lunas, John Frank Aguilar and wife Josie of Artesia, Tommy Aguilar and wife Carmen of Houston, Tx., Issac Aguilar and wife Alyce of Roswell, and daughter-in-love, Carol Aguilar of Artesia. 20 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her Encompass Health Hospice nurses and her dear, sweet neighbors that always checked in on her.
