Donald E. Rehm
Donald E. Rehm, 86, formerly of York Haven, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 in Messiah Lifeways, Mechanicsburg. He was the husband of Edith L. (Hutton) Rehm . They were married 63 years. Donald was born in Newberry Twp. He was the son of the late Eli and Ella Mae Rehm. Donald was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of Fishing Creek Salem United Methodist Church, Etters. Don retired from the West Shore School District, working in the transportation department. He worked many years as a meat cutter and as well as a carpenter’s assistant. Donald enjoyed time with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, good father and a friend to all. He is survived by his wife, Edith L. Rehm; son Douglas A. Rehm and wife Cecelia of Cumming, GA; daughter Catherine L. Cummins and husband James of Nazareth, PA; brother Royce “Jake” Rehm and wife Ruth of Camp Hill; six grandchildren, Rebecca Bowman, Peter Rehm, Laura Adams, Margaret Fausel, Mary Cummins and Janet Baura; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Janet Lahr and her husband Harold. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Paddletown Cemetery, Newberry Twp. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions in Donald’s memory to his church at 402 Valley Rd. Etters, PA 17319.Obituary
