Sandra Celia DuBray was born on December 17, 1955 in Bridger, SD to James Buffalo and Mary Good Eagle. Sandra made her journey to the Spirit World on November 18, 2020 at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. Sandra was a kind sweet lady who was raised by her grandma Sarah Buffalo and moved to Allen when she met her soul mate, Sam DuBray. Together, they took in foster children before having their own, which Sandra was blessed to become a mother and she showered her gift of being a loving mother, a caring grandmother and a good relative to many. Samuel and Sandra were married for 45 wonderful years. Sam and Sandy were blessed with 7 beautiful children; 1 hunka daughter; 15 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews. Sandra worked at Bennett County Senior Citizens Center, American Horse Day School and Pine Ridge High School Kitchen for 15 years before she retired. Sandra is survived by spouse, Samuel DuBray, Sr. of Allen, SD; children, Diane DuBray, Samantha (Dave) Gotheridge, Sandra DuBray, Jr., and Samuel DuBray, Jr. all of Allen, SD, and Delores (Roger) DuBray and Sarah (Linn) DuBray both of Martin, SD; grandchildren, Lariah, Ilyana, Isaac, Raina, Racheal, Joshua, Melody, Kenny, Hunter, Gage, Skylar, Taylor, Diana, Ethan, Cecil, and Jayden; great grandchildren, Cassandra, Isabella, Jasmine and Aria; siblings, Serena Buffalo of Bismarck, ND, Ben Bone Club of Wakpala, SD, Delaine Buffalo and Carl Buffalo both of Eagle Butte, SD, and Vernell Henady of Denver, CO; aunt, Violet Lone Eagle of Eagle Butte, SD; hunka brother, Royce (Verna) Gone of Wakpala, SD; sisters-in-law, Hazel DuBray and Eula (Melvin) Young both of Allen, SD; hunka daughter, Lisa Dixon of Pine Ridge, SD; and hunka sister, Sophie Lamont of Allen, SD. Sandra was preceded in death by her daughter, SueAnn DuBray-Giago; parents, James Buffalo & Mary Good Eagle; grandparents, James & Sarah Buffalo and Agatha Holy Bull; brother, Cecil Buffalo; sisters, Roletta Pretty Weasel and Bernadine Bone Club; granddaughter, Vaughn Shania Douglas; niece, Brittany Buffalo; nephews, Waco Buffalo and Pfc. Sheldon Hawk Eagle; and aunt, Stella Buffalo. Sandra Celia DuBray was born on December 17, 1955 in Bridger, SD to James Buffalo and Mary Good Eagle. Sandra made her journey to the Spirit World on November 18, 2020 at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. Sandra was a kind sweet lady who was raised by her grandma Sarah Buffalo and moved to Allen when she met her soul mate, Sam DuBray. Together, they took in foster children before having their own, which Sandra was blessed to become a mother and she showered her gift of being a loving mother, a caring grandmother and a good relative to many.
