John T.  Richardson, 89, Kingsport, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, November 18, 2020 at VA Mountain Home.  John was born in Kingsport and had lived here his entire life.  He was a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School and ETSU.  After graduation he entered the Air Force and served four years.  He was a sales manager for Prudential Insurance for a number of years.  He then became administer of Kingsport Moose Lodge #972.  John was a member of the American Legion & VFW, and a member of Mountain View United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Richardson, granddaughter, Erica Faulk, and one sister, Patsy Duncan.

John is survived by 3 daughters, Sherrie Richardson, Rene Faulk and husband, Don, Jr., and Edie McGlothlin and husband, Greg; 5 grandchildren, Sarah Ashleigh Renfro, Donald Wayne Faulk, Dalton Faulk, Dylan Faulk, Gaines McGlothlin, several nieces and nephews.

John’s wishes were to be cremated with no services.
