<p>Charles Theodore &quot;Ted&quot; Taylor, 89, passed away in his home in Phenix City on November 18, 2020.&nbsp; A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Colonial Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL.</p> <p>Mr. Taylor was born August 12, 1931 in Phenix City, AL son of the late Margaret Hood Taylor.&nbsp; He retired from Tom&#39;s Peanut Factory after 35 years of service.&nbsp; Mr. Taylor was a member of Bush Rd Emmanuel Holiness Church.&nbsp; His biggest hobby was woodworking.</p> <p>Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters and his son, Dr. C. Gary Taylor.</p> <p>Mr. Taylor is survived by his loving wife of almost 69 years, Katreen &quot;Pete&quot; Taylor of Phenix City, AL; three daughters Charmer (David) Mathis, Jackie Taylor, and Janet (Pete) Nilsen, all of Phenix City, AL.&nbsp; One son, Keith (Dawn) Taylor of Smith Station, AL.&nbsp; Daughter-in-law Barbara W. Taylor.&nbsp; Thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.</p> <p>Mr. Taylor&#39;s family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Mary Simpson PA-C, Dr. David White, Dr. Shane Darrah, Jed Vickers PA-C, Dr. Nicholas Mayfield, DCI Inc. of Phenix City, Kidney Fund, Encompass Home Health and Hospice Care of Eufaula, EMS Care Ambulance and Fire Station 1 in Phenix City.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Kidney Fund or kidneyfund.org.&nbsp; American Kidney Fund - 11921 Rockville Pike Ste 300 - Rockville, MD&nbsp; 20852</p>

Charles Theodore "Ted" Taylor, 89, passed away in his home in Phenix City on November 18, 2020.  A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Colonial Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL.
