Eunice Ethel O'Quin

Eunice Ethel O’Quin Haysi, VA – Eunice Ethel O’Quin, age 98 of Greenbrier Road passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Heritage Hall, Grundy, VA. Born in Buchanan County she was a daughter of the late David and Cosby Raines. Ethel was owner and operator of O’Quin’s Bargain Store in Greenbrier for 25 years. She was a great cook and a hard worker with a giving sole and heart of gold. Ethel was of the Primitive Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Morgan O’Quin; sons Ricky and Curtis O’Quin, daughters Betty Lou Deel and Sally O’Quin, and two grandchildren, Patricia Ratliff and Jerry Wayne O’quin. Survivors include three sons Ken (Janice) O’Quin of Haysi, VA, Jerry O’Quin of Tazewell, TN and Louie O’Quin of Vansant, VA; a daughter, Mildred Boyd of Grundy, VA; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2020 at the O’Quin Deel Cemetery, Greenbrier Road, Haysi, VA with Billy Campbell officiating.
