Williamston - Conise Elizabeth Caldwell Owen, 76, widow of James Virgil Owen, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020. Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late James Henry and Catherine Roach Caldwell. She was a retired CNA and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include son, Greg Owen (Misty) of Williamston; siblings, Carolyn Gambrell and Janice Smith, both of Piedmont, James H. Caldwell (Joan) of Williamston; grandchildren, James R. Owens (Deidre) and Anna Elise Owens; step-grandchildren, Hailie Green (Rusty), Harlie Sisk; and great-grandchildren, James Greyson Owens and Chessah Owens. She was predeceased by a daughter, Teresa "Teri" Owen. The family will receive friends 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 21, at Oak Grove Baptist Church, with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church.
