<p>Mary Amburgey, 84 years old, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 19 at Hawthorne Glen Senior Nursing Center in Middletown, Ohio.&nbsp; Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. Her family always came first. She treated everyone with kindness and was loved by all who knew her. Mary was born in Frenchburg, Kentucky, and later moved to Middletown, Ohio to marry and raise her family. Mary is survived by her husband, Jim Amburgey, son Ray Amburgey, son-in-law Roger Mays, grandsons Ben Amburgey, Justin Mays, Jerrod Mays and great grandson Harlan Amburgey. She is survived by her siblings Wanda Manning, Phyllis Hammonds, Shirley Adkins, Earl Adkins, John Adkins, Bobby Adkins, and Gary Adkins. Mary was preceded in death by her parents Elwood and Nannie Adkins, her daughter Joyce Mays, and siblings Della Neely, Dorothy Steele and Clarice Kemplin. Mary helped with the family business for 62 years, and retired from Garden Manor Retirement Home..&nbsp;A small gathering for family and friends at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005 on Monday, November 23, 2020 from 12:00-1:00 pm. Burial at North Monroe&nbsp;Cemetery following the gathering.&nbsp;The arrangements are being handled by Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home in Middletown, Ohio.
