<p>Eleanor E. Lowell, age 80, of East Haven passed away peacefully on November 16, 2020 at Yale New Haven Hospital, St. Raphael&rsquo;s Campus, New Haven.&nbsp; Ellie was born in New Haven,&nbsp; Connecticut on June 22, 1940&nbsp;to the late George Smallman and Eleanor Mack.</p> <p>Eleanor was a lifelong resident of Connecticut and was employed with the State of Connecticut,&nbsp;Human Resources&nbsp;Department for 30 years until her&nbsp;retirement.&nbsp; She loved&nbsp;visiting Disney with her family,&nbsp;going to the casino and especially loved being with all of her&nbsp;family at Christmas, her favorite holiday.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> Eleanor is survived by her three children, Frank (Laura) Lowell of North Branford,&nbsp;Barbara (Gabe) Geist of North Carolina and Thomas (Sherry) Lowell of Florida.&nbsp; She also leaves</p> <p>Behind her sister, Beverly Tullock of Wallingford, eight Grandchildren, Thomas (Heather) Lowell, &nbsp;Kari (Thomas) Schaefer, Christopher Unitas, Jennifer (Peter) Unitas, Robert Jones,&nbsp;&nbsp;Samantha Lowell, &nbsp;Ashley Lowell, and&nbsp;Ava Lowell, and eight Great Grandchildren, &nbsp;Kaylee Lowell, Jake Lowell, Brianna Schaefer, Tyler Schaefer, Arianna Carbone, Isabella Battipaglia, Charlotte Jones, and Ronin Jones &nbsp;She was predeceased&nbsp;by two sisters,&nbsp;Audrey Douglas of East Haven&nbsp;and Barbara Morris of Butler,&nbsp;Pennsylvania and her life long companion, Arthur Simone &nbsp;</p> <p>A graveside service for immediate family members will be held on Monday, November 30, 2020 @ 11:00 a.m. All Saints Cemetery.&nbsp; Memorial donations in Eleanor&rsquo;s name&nbsp;may be made to the St. Jude Children&rsquo;s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.&nbsp; www.stjude.org.</p>
