Piedmont - Brenda Lynn Woodson, 48, widow of Timothy “Tim” Christian Roper, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020. Born in Laurens, she was a daughter of the late William Earl and Donna Bell Woodson. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her children, Janna Faye Roper, Tabitha Ann Roper and George Evan Roper, all of the home; siblings, Candy Strickland (Robert) of Greenville, Lisa Tenney (George) of Belton, Katherine W. Dutton (Kenneth) of Laurens and James Kevin Woodson of Honea Path. She was predeceased by a brother, Roger Earl Woodson. The family will receive friends 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22, at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer followed by the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. in the mortuary chapel.
