Joan Marie Wolff Tidwell, 78, resident of Ninety Six, wife of Rembert Joseph Tidwell, passed away, Wednesday, November 18, 2020 peacefully at her home. Born March 3, 1942, in East Orange, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Arthur E. Wolff and Anne Mae Hoag Wolff. Mrs. Tidwell worked lovingly in Education and taught at Ninety Six Elementary School where she started the H.O.S.T.S. program. Mrs. Tidwell, was and always will be loved by her husband, family, and each of her school children as if they were her own. She was of the Catholic faith. Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons, Bob (Cami) Tidwell of Charleston, Steve (Jennifer) Tidwell of Conway, Joe (Angela) Tidwell of Beaufort; one daughter, Georganna Tidwell of Hodges and eight grandchildren.
