Ruth M. Nolfi

Ruth M. Nolfi (nee Crawley), 82, of West Orange, N.J., passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2020. The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Aloysius Church, 219 Bloomfield Ave., Caldwell, on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020 at 9:30 a.m., immediately followed by a Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at St. John’s Cemetery, Orange. Born in Orange, Mrs. Nofli was a resident of West Orange all her life. She graduated from Berkeley Secretarial School and was employed as an administrator by Prestige Maintenance in West Orange. Ruth also was an administrator at the Marsh Animal Hospital in Verona. Mrs. Nolfi was the beloved wife of 61 years to John D. Nolfi; loving mother of John T. Nolfi and his wife, Mary Ann, Susan M. Strong and her husband, Corey, and Michael Nolfi, and cherished grandmother of Thomas Nolfi, Ryan Nolfi, Anthony Strong, Eric Strong, Jessica Nunziato, Angela Nolfi and Michael Nolfi, and adored great-grandmother of Emilia Nunziato. She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas Crawley and Ruth Edna Force; sister, June Kozlowski, and step-mother, Donna A. Faverio.
