<p>Edith &quot;Edie&quot; J. (nee Casalena) Cerasoli, 98, of Birchrunville, PA passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on November 17, 2020.</p> <p>Born in Philadelphia, PA on December 13, 1921, Edith was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Concetta (nee Patana) Casalena.</p> <p>She later moved to Devon, PA where she raised her family.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p>Edith was compassionate, gracious and beautiful inside and out.&nbsp; She had a warm, kind spirit and a positive energy, and lived life to the fullest.&nbsp; There was nothing more important to her than taking care of her family.&nbsp; She enjoyed traveling, cooking&nbsp;and gardening.&nbsp; She was extremely creative and loved crafting and sewing.&nbsp; Later in life she was a sewing instuctor for Singer.&nbsp;Edith was&nbsp;also&nbsp;a talented competitive ballroom dancer&nbsp;and won several trophies.&nbsp; She had a variety of pets, loved all animals and nature.</p> <p>Edith was the beloved wife of Frank S. Cerasoli who preceded her in death; loving mother of Michael F. Cerasoli (Colleen) and Dennis J. Cerasoli (Christine); adoring grandmother of M. Scott Cerasoli (Natalie) and Deborah C. Schneider; and great-grandmother of Alec Cerasoli, Olivia Cerasoli, Justin Schneider and Jake Schneider. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.</p> <p>Services are private due to Covid-19.&nbsp; A celebration of Edith&#39;s life will be held at a later date.</p>

Edith "Edie" J. (nee Casalena) Cerasoli, 98, of Birchrunville, PA passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on November 17, 2020.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on December 13, 1921, Edith was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Concetta (nee Patana) Casalena.

She later moved to Devon, PA where she raised her family.
