Lonnie Carl Estes son of John Elzy & Effie Estes and brother to Corwin, Betty Ruth, Wendy, Mike, Danny, and Tamra, passed away peacefully in his home on November 19, 2020.  

   Lonnie was born September 25, 1938 to John Elzy & Effie Cleveland Estes.  He grew up in the Northern Arizona town of Alpine; later he moved to Eagar and married Yevonne "Kae" Slade.  The couple was blessed with 4 children Jefferey Kayle, Shelly, Ethan Sterling, and Nathan Sloan. After the death of his wife Kae, Lonnie married Lilly Anna Crigler in 2011.

   Lonnie is survived by his wife, Lilly Anna Estes of Safford, his children Jefferey Kayle Estes of Mesa, Shelly Estes of Tucson, Ethan Sterling Estes of Thatcher, & Nathan Sloan Estes of Safford, 16 Grandchildren, 1 Great-Grandchild, and his siblings Betty Ruth, Wendy, Mike, Danny, and Tamra.

   He is preceded in death by his first wife Kae, his parents Elzy & Effie, and his brother Corwin Estes.

   A graveside service will be held on Saturday November 21, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. in the Alpine Cemetery in Alpine, Arizona.
