Cumberland, MD – Sherry Ann Cessna, 73, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at UPMC Western Maryland.  Born August 17, 1947, in Cumberland, MD, Mrs. Cessna was the daughter of the late William Bittinger and Alverta (Rinehart) Bittinger.  She was also preceded in death by her in-laws: Elmer and Zola Cessna.  A graduate of Fort Hill High School, Class of 1965, Sherry retired from the WMHS Memorial Campus as a Unit Secretary with 40 years of service.  She loved spending time with her husband, her children, her grandchildren, and spoiling her fur babies and grand fur babies.  Sherry enjoyed her swimming pool in the summer and catching up with friends on Facebook.  She loved her family with every fiber of her being and they will love and miss her forever.  Sherry is survived by her husband of 39 years: Thomas Cessna; and her children: Matthew Morley and wife, Mary Ann; and Abby Cubbage and husband, Troy.  She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Adam Morley and wife, Claire; Logan Morley; Peyton Morley; Laiken Morley; and Randy Cubbage and girlfriend, Kassidi Paugh; her special friends: Glenn and Linda Miller; and Francie Adams; and her pets: Rudy, Cooley, Boo, Spencer, and Sammy.  Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Sunday, November 22, 2020, from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.  A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, November 23, 2020, at 10:00 A.M., with Reverend Vicki Cubbage officiating.  Interment will be in Maryland Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap.
