Alberta J Johnson Obituary

Alberta Jane Johnson passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones just 3 days shy of her 95th birthday on November 17, 2020. 

Alberta was born November 20, 1925 in Lucas County Jerusalem Township, Ohio to Albert and Anna Anderson.

Alberta married Larry Johnson on September 30, 1949 and moved from Ohio to the ranch in Wyoming.  Together they raised three children – Jane, Ellen, and David.

Alberta was a faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church in Mountain View.  She was a 4-H leader and a member of the Willow Creek Homemakers Club for many years.

Alberta was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Anna Anderson and her brother and sister-in-law Daniel and Elizabeth Anderson.  She is survived by her husband, Larry Johnson, her children Jane (Douglas) Malone, Ellen (Wade) Bowthorpe, and David Johnson, 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

There will be a viewing at First Presbyterian Church located at 329 3rd Street in Mountain View on Saturday November 21, 2020 at 10:00 am with a service to follow at 11:00 am.  Graveside services will be held at the Fort Bridger Cemetery. A recording of the funeral will be posted on the Crandall Funeral Home website beginning Tuesday afternoon.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to a church of your choice.
