Heather Lynnette Swift Obituary

Heather Lynnette Swift went to be Jesus early Wednesday morning, November 18, 2020 at the age of 35. She and her twin brother were born to Kenny and Cathy (Baker) Swift on October 3, 1985 in Wichita, Kansas. Heather graduated high school and eventually received her Bachelors degree in Nursing while working full-time. She began working at her family's restaurant, Bakes BBQ, when she was 14 and continued working with her family for 12 years. It was here where her inner beauty and vibrant personality was on display for all who met her. Outside of work, Heather made sure family knew of her love for them. While she was never a mother, she loved her nieces and nephews and made them all feel like they were the best. Making others feel loved and appreciated while battling and overcoming her diagnosis with dignity and grace was one Heather's many gifts. Her family is comforted knowing that she has been made whole because of her faith in Jesus. "God is within her, she will not fall..." Psalms 46:5. Survivors include her parents, Cathy and Kenny Swift of Derby, Kansas; brother, Jeremy Swift (Brittaney) of Hanover, Texas; sister, Jennifer Whatley (Glen) of Middleton, Texas; sister, Cristin Swift (Michael Goss) of Derby, Kansas; brother, Ryan Swift (Bobbi) of Wichita, Kansas; twin brother, Heath Swift (Tasha) of Louisville, Kentucky; brother, Scott Swift of Northport, Maine; brother, Colby Swift (Stacie) of Eden, Idaho; grandparents, Virgil and Lorraine Swift of Claremore, Oklahoma, nieces and nephews: Drew, Thomas, Luke, Chase, Kalesy, Kyleigh, Harley, Norah, Hailynn, Reid, Hadley, Elise, Zayn, Brantlee, Easton, Payton, Kahli, Christian, Cody and Addy, aunts and uncles: RD Baker, Kevin Baker, Sannie Wykes, Ray Swift, Randy Swift and Kathy Neff along with numerous cousins and friends.
