Jim R. Tyler of Cuba, Missouri was born on Monday, November 15, 1948 in Manila, Arkansas to the union of Johnny and Myrtle (Stevens) Tyler. He left from this life on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at St. Clare Health Center in Fenton, Missouri at the age of 72 years. Jim started working for McDonnell-Douglas at the age of 17, he would later work and retire as an Auditor for the International Association of Machinist & Aerospace Workers Union. He enjoyed spending time working on the farm and being on his tractor. He also enjoyed the history of the Civil War and he was always up to date on politics, Union and Civil Rights matters. Jim is preceded in death by his mother Myrtle J. (Stevens) Tyler; one son Daniel Adams; father-in-law and mother-in-law Ralph Veda (Leslie) Adams; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Ralph Adams, Jr. Martin, Michael, Brian and Gary Adams, Jeannie Zobrist, Melvin Makara, Michael Evans. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving wife Terri (Adams) Tyler; two sons Kevin and wife Mary Tyler, Keith Tyler; five grandchildren Linda, Lauren, Brandon, Samuel and Kamden Tyler; father Johnny Tyler; sister Debbie and husband Gary Cate; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Tony and wife Pat Dixon, Jackie Makara, Carolyn and husband Donald Bowolak, Debbie Evans, Sandra Mendoza and Michael Zobrist; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friend of many. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 1:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Don Martin, officiating. Interment will follow at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. If desired, memorials would be appreciated to the Childhood Leukemia Foundation 807 Mantoloking Rd. Brick, NJ 08723 or American Liver Foundation P.O. Box 299 West Orange, NJ 07052.
