Margaret L. Morse

Margaret Louise Morse, age 71, of Mosinee, died on November 17, 2020 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Margaret was born March 4, 1949 to the late Richard and Frances (Thompson) Ballenger in Middleburg, Virginia. The family moved to Haymarket, Virginia, and Margaret graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School in Manassas, Virginia Margaret married James Morse on November 5, 1974 at the Sterling, Virginia Courthouse. The pair moved around, living in Denver, Colorado, Carpentersville, Illinois, and settling down in Mosinee. Her first job was at the post office in Dulles, Virginia. Margaret then worked many jobs before her position as a store supervisor at American Trans Air from which she retired. Margaret was an avid knitter; she proudly spent much of her time making gifts for Care Wear. Margaret had a big heart but at times, a sharp tongue. She never met a stranger she did not like. Survivors include her husband, James Morse; son, Alan Morse; 3 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Dean Ballenger; and 7 nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at Boston Funeral Home. Visitation will precede from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
