Frances D. Rhinebeck Obituary

Frances D. Rhinebeck 3/6/1931-11/17/2020 Middletown, NY Frances D. Rhinebeck, a longtime resident of Middletown, died unexpectedly on November 17, 2020 at home. She was 89. The daughter of the late Fred and Dorothy Tompkins Reichman, she was born in Hancock NY on March 3rd, 1931. Frances was a loving, caring, generous and kindhearted soul. She viewed each new day as a blessing, enriched by her strong faith in God . She was beloved by all who knew her and touched many lives along the way. The simplest things brought her joy and happiness and always found the good in everything and everyone. Extremely well organized, she kept index cards with names, dates and special notes for her family, neighbors, and friends. She is survived by her loving son, H. William Rhinebeck of Middletown and cherished grandson, Robert. She was predeceased by her husband Harvey who passed in 1999. There will be no visitation. A memorial Graveside Service will be held in the Spring in Hancock, NY at the family plot in Riverside Cemetery. Heavenly Father, at this moment, nothing seems to be able to help the loss we feel after our mother's / grandmother's passing. Our hearts are broken and our spirits mourn. All we know is that your grace is sufficient and there is comfort knowing she is with you in heaven… You are worthy of all praise, help us not to turn our back on you but to approach you with thanksgiving. You are the spring of living water, help us find life in all its fullness in you. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen. Arrangements are made under the direction of Applebee McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc.
