THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF PATRICK LYNCH OAKVILLE – Patrick Joseph Lynch age 82 of Oakville, passed away peacefully at the Vitas Innovative Care unit at Saint Mary’s Hospital after a brief illness on Sunday, November 15th 2020. He was the husband of Lorraine (Taggett) Lynch. Patrick was born January 6th 1938 in Waterbury, CT the son of the late Patrick E. and Mary (Phalen) Lynch. He attended local schools and spent many years working for Osram Sylvania as a machine operator until his retirement. Patrick proudly served with the US Army and enjoyed spending time with his family, loving and caring for his five grandchildren. He was an avid NY Giants and Boston Red Sox fan. He enjoyed watching the Red Sox as much as any team that beat the Yankees. Left to cherish his memories and honor Patrick’s love and legacy besides his wife Lorraine of 57 years are his children; Debra Mannello and her husband, Luke of Waterbury, Donna Lockwood and her husband, Garret with whom they made their home. He is also survived by one brother, Bernard and his wife, Louise, his sisters-in-law, Patricia Galante, and Marilyn Taggett, and brothers-in-law, Willard Ruggles, James Taggett, and Tim Taggett and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves to cherish his memories, his loving grandchildren, Marissa Mannello, Garret Lockwood, Michala Mannello, Stacey Lockwood, and Michael Mannello. Patrick was predeceased by his grandson, Daniel, his brothers, John, Robert, Daniel, Edward, and Eugene, and his sisters, Patricia Secula, Calista Ruggles, and Rosemary Shelton. Funeral Services for Mr. Lynch will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Patrick’s honor to Salvation Army.
