Obituary
Richard Perry, 74, former Utah resident, born and raised in Maine.
Richard Perry spent most of his life as a Utah resident but his heart longed for the great state of Maine. Often, he would visit family in Maine with his daughter where he would visit the numerous lighthouses that brought back childhood memories.
At the young age of 19, he joined the armed services and served in the Army for three years. He then went to college and received a degree in business. Over the course of his professional life, he worked at many Utah-based businesses and retired from the education system at the age of 66.
His hobbies included ham radio operation, genealogy to explore his family history, airshows, rocking out to 60’s music and a quiet day with his family.
His most prized possessions was the photographs of his family including his siblings Judy (Lloyd) Murphy, Bud (Judy) Perry, William (Dorothy) Perry, only daughter April Perry Kritzer, grandson Alta Kritzer, step children Shey Carter, Kami Gabbitas, Sean Mullins, and his many step grandchildren.
Above all else, he loved his family and would go out of his way for friends.
We will miss you.
