Betty Faulkner Obituary

Betty J. Faulkner, of Paragould, was born April 7, 1931, to Leonard and Goldie Chappell of Powhatan, AR. She departed this life on November 17, 2020. She was a faithful member of the Center Hill Church of Christ. Betty was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe C. Faulkner; one son, Joey M. Faulkner; and one sister, Lonnie Mapes of Rogue, Oregon.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Faulkner; son and daughter in law, Phillip Alan and Laura Faulkner all of Paragould; three grandsons, P. J. of Fort Collins, Colorado, Zachary Faulkner (Whitney) of Jonesboro, AR, Seth Faulkner of Paragould; step grandson, Jordan Williams of Louisville, KY; step granddaughter, Debra Williams of Owensboro, KY; sisters, Virgalene Pollock of Rogers, AR, Retta Brown of Indianapolis, IN; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 20, from 12:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Michael Meredith and David Deffenbaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Powhatan Cemetery.
P. J. Faulkner, Zachary Faulkner, Seth Faulkner, Jordan Williams, Keith Milligan, and Keith White will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Dr. Stacy Noel and staff at the Family Practice Clinic of Paragould.
Lasting memorials may be made to the Children's Homes in Paragould or the Powhatan Cemetery Fund.
