Pearl Mae (Dannar) Henkel passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, November 9, 2020 at Heritage Estates in Gering, NE. Cremation has taken place with her memorial service to be scheduled at a later date. Jones Mortuary in Mitchell, NE has assisted the family. Pearl was born April 28, 1928 to Connie & Christena (Glendy) Dannar. Pearl enjoyed many things including puzzles, crocheting and watching the Huskers and Broncos football games. She also owned and operated a café for many years. Surviving Pearl are her children Albert (Janis) Henkel of Shawnee, KS, Christena Dykes of Mitchell, NE and Joan (Lee) Rhodes of Sterling, CO; son-in-law Robert Lemmon of Torrington, WY; brother Veryl Dannar of Hemingford, NE and many grandchildren. Preceding her in death is daughter Eleanor Lemmon; brothers Earl, Harry and Connie Dannar; sisters Velma Bruns and Hazel Cedar; 3 infant sons and 1 infant grandson Bradley Henkel.
