<p>Yvonne Harrop Phillips, 80, of Goldsboro passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.</p> <p><br /> <br /> A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, December 02, 2020 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends following the service.<br /> </p> <p> </p> <p>Mrs. Phillips was born in England on October 14, 1940 to the late Albert and Gladys Roofe Harrop. She attended Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Chapel.<br /> </p> <p> </p> <p>She is survived by her loving husband, Norman Allen Phillips; one son, Stuart Allen Phillips of Goldsboro and one grandson, Kyle Turner Phillips of Denver, Colorado.<br /> </p> <p> </p> <p>In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Christopher "Chris" Michael Phillips.<br /> </p> <p> </p> <p>The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.</p>Obituary
