Joyce Marie Greiner, 79, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Brookdale Assisting Living Center in Nashville, TN. Joyce was born in Crossville, Illinois on August 24, 1941 to the late Grady and Anna (Brown) Pryor. She graduated from North High School and attended Peabody/ Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN. Joyce married Dr. Donald A. Greiner on May 25, 1963. He preceded her in death on January 6, 2010 after 46 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Joyce spent many years wintering in Chicago to spend time with her granddaughters, spring in New Smyrna Beach, FL, her home away from away, and Evansville with her oldest granddaughter. Joyce is survived by her daughters, Lynn Greiner Kent of Evansville, IN and Debbie Militante (Gary) of Nashville, TN ; granddaughters, Ashlyn Kent, of Columbus, OH, Reagan Militante, and Rylen Militante both of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Hornbrook (Bob); nieces, Sheryl Moore (Dale) and Tammy Guth (Tim). Visitation will be on Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Avenue, Evansville, Indiana 47711. Private services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Browning Funeral Home with Father Jason Gries officiating. Burial will be private at Park Lawn Cemetery on Monday.
