Barbara Ellen (Schwartz) Sealy went to meet her lord Jesus Christ on November 17, 2020 with her loving daughter and caregiver, Shelly, by her side. She was born on February 14, 1936 in Eaton Rapids, the daughter of Francis and Myrtle Schwartz. Barb was a graduate of Grand Ledge High, class of 1954, and a graduate of Lansing Community College with an interior design degree. Barbara was a life-long member of the Grand Ledge Baptist Church. She was a wonderful grandmother whom provided daycare for her grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her loving, wonderful husband Melbourne “Mel” Sealy; her parents,and in-laws, Loyd and Noreen Sealy. She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen (Ronnie) Thornton and Michelle “Shelly” (Gregg) Chappuies; three grandchildren: Steve Holwerda, Seth (Ashlynn) Kenoyer, and Hannah (Justin) DeLonghe; brother, James (Shirley) Schwartz and great-granddaughter, Clara Kenoyer. A graveside service will be held Friday, November 20, 2020 11:00 a.m. at Delta Center Cemetery, 7301 W. Joseph St, Lansing, MI.
