Delores Ann Gore

Delores Ann Gore, 74, Hays, died Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at HaysMed.

She was born September 14, 1946 in LaCrosse, the daughter of Berthold and Lenora (Werth) Schuckman.  She graduated from McCracken High School in 1964.  On January 30, 1965 she was united in marriage to Daniel Raymond Rein in Liebenthal, and he preceded her in death in 1966.  On January 24, 1970 she was united in marriage to Jerry D. Gore in Hutchinson, and they celebrated 25 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on December 22, 1995.  She worked at K-Mart and Stromgrem Athletics.  Delores was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and enjoyed sewing, scrapbooking, QVC, and visiting with her friends during their monthly lunches.

Survivors include two daughters: Deanna Staab and Tracy Perrett and husband Eddie, both of Hays, a brother: Don Schuckman of LaCrosse, four grandchildren: Corey Breit, Makenzie Staab, Seth Perrett, and Ben Perrett, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her two husbands: Daniel Rein and Jerry Gore.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Ryan McCandless officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 on Friday and from 9:00 am until 9:45 on Saturday, all at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.  A vigil service and rosary will be at 6:30 pm on Friday at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to TMP-Marian High School, Holy Family Elementary, or to the Cancer Council of Ellis County.  Condolences and memories of Delores may be shared with the family at www.haysmemorial.com
