Joy L. Holdren Oshkosh, Wisconsin Obituary

Joy L. Holdren

Joy L. Holdren, age 63, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2020 with her family by her side. She was born in Oshkosh to the late John and Jessie (Weymouth) Holdren. If you were lucky enough to know Joy, you loved Joy. She was the life of the party and would have you laughing uncontrollably with her ability to tell a great story. She enjoyed spending days meeting up with family and friends, watching her grandsons and going to meat raffles at Retros. She will be remembered for her quick wit and ability to be a great connector of people. Joy’s most precious gifts were her two sons who she was immensely proud of. She loved her children, grandchildren and loads of family and friends unconditionally. Joy is survived by her two sons: John Holdren, Charlie (Jen) Johns; four grandchildren: Johnathan Holdren, Hudson, Camden, and Chase Johns; three sisters: Bev (Larry) Weisjohn, Carol Hunke, Jan (Scott) Wiesender; sister-in-law, Julie Holdren; niece, Jennifer Hollenbeck; and many other family and friends too numerous to mention. She is further preceded in death by her brother, Jim Holdren, nephew, Derrick Holdren and numerous other relatives and friends. Private family services will be held at a later date. “May your hand stretch out for friendship, but never for want”
