Williamsville Community of Attala County, MS. Mrs. Hilda McDaniel Shields age 92 passed this life Friday, August 4, 2017 at Atwood Personal Care Home in Kosciusko, MS. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with Hilton Moore and Jerry Dubard officiating with burial to follow at Jerusalem Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 8th and 10:00 a.m. until service Wednesday, August 9th at Jordan Funeral Home. Mrs. Shields was a housewife and Seamstress with Garan Incorporated and member of Big Springs Primitive Baptist Church in the Barnes community of Leake County. She was also a Volunteer at the Natchez Trace Visitors Center. She is preceded in death by her parents Tyre and Callie Steed McDaniel and her husband of seventy-three years, J.T. Shields. Daughter: Linda Henderson, Six Sisters and Four Brothers. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Thomas Edward and Theresa Shields, of Williamsville,Grandchildren: Sandra (Ricky) Smith of Sebastopol, Lynn Shields (Terry) Beard, Ft. Myers, Florida, Becky Skelton, Andrew Shields both of Port Charlotte, Florida, Mike (Tammy) Bell of Williamsville, Clay (Tricia) Bell of Arkansas, Step-Grandsons: Gary (Diana) Grimm , Fernandina, Florida and Steve (Cena) Grimm of Columbus, Ohio. Thirteen Great-Grandchildren, Six Step-Great-Grandchildren and Seven Great-Great Grandchildren.
