He was born to the late Edith Baker and James Wilson jr. in Gainesville, Florida on January 28, 1977. He graduated from Williston High School Class of 1997. Antonina mett and married Shelia Denise Wilson on December 3, 1998, and to this marriage, three children were born. He was Affectionately known as "Antonio" and will be remembered as a Truck Driver. Antonina Alamar WilsonJanuary 28, 1977 - February 21, 2019 Betty Stockton Walker was born on April 17th,1946 in Chiefland, Florida. She was the second child born to U.L. Gamble and Lillie Mae Gamble (Gent). She was proceeded in death by her parents and husbands Alphonso Stockton for 24yrs. (divorced) and Wiley Walker for 12yrs. Two brothers Ulysses Gamble and Jerry Gamble. Betty departed this Life to be with the Lord on February 25th, 2019 at North Fla. Regional Hosp. in Gainesville, Fl. She was baptized at an early age at Mt. Erie Baptist Church, Hardeetown, Fl. A faithful and long-time member of The New Jerusalem Church of God and currently attending Mt. Pleasant Baptist in Chiefland, Fl. Betty, started her education at the Chiefland Elementary School, after graduating 9th grade she finished High School at Williston Vocational High School in 1963, in Williston, Fl. Her Career and Service: Betty began her work career after graduating at BETTS BIG T Restaurant. She later moved to New York and started a new career as a domestic worker, while working that job she was able to attend a trade school and become an operation room tech. at the Harlem Hosp. in New York. The longing for home and the country life she returned to Chiefland in the mid-'70s. After her return she worked a variety of jobs: As a Crab Picker for Otter Creek, Steinhatchee and Chiefland Crab Co. As a cook in serval different restaurants in Gainsville, a construction work with her husband Alphonso Stockton, several years at the Levy County Health Dept, and Tacachale Center, in Gainsville. In 1981, she began working for Levy ARC as an aide and worked her way up the Director of Levy ARC. This is the place she loved and dedicated 38 years of Service to. She received many awards for outstanding service. She retired on January 31, 2019. Her tenure with the City of Chiefland began as a City Commissioner in 1997 and served until 2007, was re-elected in 2013 until the present. Served as Vice Mayor from Sept.1999 to Sept. 2000. Sept. 2004 to Sept. 2006. Sept. 2014 to Sept 2016. As Mayor from Sept. 2000 to 2002, Sept. 2003 to Sept. 2004, Sept. 2006 to Sept. 2007, Sept 2016 to present. She loved to serve the citizens of Chiefland. Betty loved her family, she was the life of every family gathering always had something funny to say, loved fishing, cooking, and loved to eat crab and turnip greens. You were always welcomed to her home to enjoy a good meal and talk. She could always keep us laughing. She graduated from Dixie County High School "Class of 1978". She attended Lake City Community College and the University of Florida with several Degrees. She studied Criminal Justice Standards and Training, Associate of Science in Corrections, and Also, she completed a Course in Patient Care Assistant. She was employed as a Vocational Food Service Coordinator. Lancaster Department of Correction, for over 10 years. She was very dedicated to anything that had her name on it and a hard worker. She loved helping people no matter where or who you were. She didn't mind giving her advice or opinion. She was just always willing to help better people. A GREENKEEPER: Mr. Ezra joined in Holy Matrimony with the Love of his life: Joyce Applying on June 21, 1997. He was also a faithful member of Tabernacle Church of God By Faith, under the Leadership of Elder Derrick Gainey. He was The Head Janitorial at Hidden Oaks Elementary School. Plus, he loved to golf as much as he can and also, loved himself some Gators. Ezra Cal WilliamsFebruary 4, 1962 - March 17, 2019 On Monday, March 18, 2019, at the Well Star Atlanta Medical Center. God reached and took Cleotha's hand between 10:00-11:00 a.m. God saw the road had gotten rough, the hills were hard to climb. He gently closed Cleotha's eyes and whispered: "my child come home". TIME TO BE BORN: Cleotha was born in Chiefland, Florida to the late Bud James and Eddie Mae Rafley. She was the firstborn child born to that union. A TIME TO BE EDUCATED: Cleotha attended Chiefland Elementary and Chiefland High School, she graduated with the class of 1967. At an early age, she committed her life to Christ. She joined The Potters House under the leadership of Pastor Lance Hayes. She worked for 14 years for The State of Florida as a Correction Officer and a Dispatcher for the State Troopers. Cleotha RafleyAugust 25, 1949 - March 18, 2019 Will was born to Eddie and Albirthher Newkirk Buie in Chiefland, Florida on June 26, 1943. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Chiefland. In 1995, he joined Bethel Christian Church in Gainesville, Florida. Will graduated from Williston Vocational High School in 1962. Following graduation from high school, he joined the United States Army and was enlisted from 1963 to 1965. In 1966, Will moved to Jacksonville, Florida and was employed at Florida East Coast Railway. He later moved to Moultrie, Georgia, where he graduated from the Police Academy and became a Police Officer. His parents, Eddie and Albirther Buie; Siblings: John Buie, Ethorn Buie, Frank Buie, Earl Buie, James Buie, and Caretha Buie Nelson preceded him in death. Growing up in Chicago, life had its obstacles but during my life, I found Christ in Cumberland, Maryland at Metropolitan A.M.E Church under Pastor Luke J. Robinson. In addition to her husband, Joe, Rosetta is survived by her children: Five daughters -Dorothy Roundtree and Jacquelene Polke, Archer; Loretha Cleveland, St. Petersburg; Cynthia Williams (Edward), Panama City; Janice Harrell (Eric), Gainesville; and one son - Theodore Robinson, Nashville, Tennessee. She also leaves to celebrate her memory four sisters' in-law - Emma Bradley, Gainesville; Elzolla Rollins (Laundra), Archer; Estella Moore, St Petersburg; and, Inetha Cummings (Arthur), Burlington, North Carolina. Additionally, her son Joe Robinson, Jr. preceded Rosetta in death, as did a devoted sone-in-law, Clarence Polke. Born on September 29, 1954, in Beaumont, Texas, he was the third of three children of the late Lanzy Hines and Dorothy Ray Wiley. Albert Hines graduated from Charlton Pollard High School on May 28, 1973. He enlisted in the United States Army on August 8, 1973, and served at numerous stateside military duty stations to include overseas tours. He received his honorable retirement service discharge on August 31, 1997. Albert began his second career as a Civil Service Professional in the Transportation field. His most recent Civil Service Occupation was with the 23rd Logistics Readiness Squadron at Moody Air Force Base, Valdosta, GA., where he served as Fleet Management and Analyst Supervisor for approximately 10 years. Albert earned an Associates in Applied Science Transportation Degree, with honors, from Central Texas College, Killeen, TX, an Associates in Applied Science at Chicago City-Wide College, Chicago, Illinois, and attended the Department of the Army's Management Staff College, Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
