Sharon Louise Cooley
Sharon Louise Cooley 78, left us Wednesday, November 9th, at the CHI Hospice House in University Place Washington with her daughter by her side. She was unable to recover from a serious and lengthy intestinal complication. Sharon is survived by her daughters Lana Moore and Kimberly Molstad, her bonus Rainboth kids, as well as many grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and even more extended family members, neighbors, and friends. Sharon was born July 7th, 1942 to Emmitt and Dorthy Moore. She graduated from Bethel High School, in Spanaway, and married her high school sweetheart, James Nelson. They soon began raising their daughters. In the early years, she enjoyed camping and gardening with her young family. Sharon worked for over 25 years in food service for AAFES, it wasn't her favorite job but she took great pride in her work and loved her customers. She worked hard for what she wanted, even taking on a second job in the cafeterias of Franklin Pierce School District. She loved being a “Lunch Lady”. Sharon remarried later in life to Harold Cooley. Even though she never thought she would be married again, this one changed her mind!. Harold and Sharon were happy and raised 2 Pomeranians together until Harold's passing from Leukemia. Sharon and Gary Rainboth quickly fell in love and got married. They loved each other and raised their sweet dogs, Peaches, and Oscar. With Gary, she grew a love for the Seahawks, Red Robin, and joking around. Sharon deeply mourned his loss, and she never got her bounce back after his passing. She liked to decorate and re-decorate her house, spending a lot of time shopping, looking, and planning where the furniture will go next. She had a passion for fashion and a new pair of earrings for every day of the year! Garage saleing filled many of her weekends. Sharon's friends, family, doctors, and nurses will never forget her beautiful smile. St Claire hospital staff commented daily on the joy her smile and positive attitude brought to their days. We will all greatly miss her.Obituary
