Services for John Richey Guillot, Jr. will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 19, 2020 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Dr. Philip Robertson officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park. The family requests visitation be held at Hixson Brothers, Pineville, Wednesday, November 18, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 19, 2020 with services to follow. Due to Covid restrictions, the family requests that visitation be come-and-go, so that all will have an opportunity to pay their respects. Social distancing and masks are required. Mr. Guillot, 53, of Deville passed from this life, Monday, November 16, 2020 at his home with family. John was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church, since 1989. He was a graduate of Pineville High School and attended LA Tech. He worked for Proctor and Gamble for 30 years, and was a Control Systems Operator. John loved tailgating for the Bulldogs, LSU Football, fishing, and hunting. He was an all around outdoorsman. John supported his children in all of their endeavors, but most of all, he enjoyed being “Papa John”. Teresa and John loved trail-riding and RVing. He never met a stranger and was a great brother, loving son, father, and husband. He is preceded in death by his mother, Janice Reynolds Guillot, and sister, Theresa Guillot. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Teresa Guillot; son, Cody Guillot, daughter, Chelsea Guillot Flory and husband, Brennan; father, John Richey Guillot, Sr.; brother, Gregory Guillot and wife, Janet; grandson, Levi Flory; and a host of other family members and friends. Pallbearers will be Greg Guillot, Cody Guillot, B. H. Texada, Joe Mayeaux, Sampson Smith, Gary Gagnard, Kenny Kessler, Christopher Guillot, and Jonathan Todaro. Honorary pallbearers will be John Guillot, Sr., and Daniel Touchet.
