James “Bo” Yulee Lawson, 36, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Indiana University Health. He previously worked as a Welder at Jeff Boat. He enjoyed anything that had to do with cars, especially classic cars. He is survived by his sons Jamond Lawson of New Albany, IN, and Jayden Lawson of Russellville, KY; mother Vida Lynne Schneider (Mark) of Charlestown, IN; father James Lawson of Jeffersonville, IN; sisters Alicia Russ (Jason) of Mt. Washington, KY, and Yakera Lawson-Fowler (Artie) of New Albany, IN; brother Blake Lawson of Jeffersonville, IN; grandmother Sue Morris (Richard) of Memphis, IN; along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Helen Pendygraft; grandfathers Robert Pendygraft, Jim Lawson, and Martin Ford. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at E.M. Coots’ Sons Funeral Home with burial to follow in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2020, from 4-8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at the Funeral Home.
