Katherine E. “Katie” Nagle, 53, of Manlius passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. She was born in Rochester and graduated from St. John Fisher College. Katie had a fulfilling career as a Labor Relations Specialist for New York State United Teachers (NYSUT). She was a member of 40 under 40 and Leadership of Greater Syracuse. She was an avid runner and enjoyed sailing. Katie valued her many friendships with all the people she met throughout her life. Most of all she loved her family and the special times she spent with them. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Brian; son, Brooks; parents, Roger J. and Helen A. Carr; brother, David (Amy) Carr; sister, Carolyn (Kenneth) Souser; nieces and nephews, Josh, Aaron, Scott, Jimmy, Jillian, Konrad and Carson; and many extended family members and friends. Family and friends may call from 1:00 - 3:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 19th at Newell-Fay Manlius Chapel, 8171 Cazenovia Rd., Manlius.
