Ronald Howard Murray, 75 years, of Arundel, ME died November 16, 2020 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, ME. Ronald was born October 23, 1945 in Kittery, ME, a son of Jerome and Marion (Crowell) Murray. He graduated from Kennebunk High School and proudly served his country in the US Army for 9 years. After his time in the service, Ron earned his CDL and worked both as a truck driver and a carpenter for the remaining of his working years. On April 5, 1967, Ron married Beverly Brown. Ron enjoyed bowling, hunting, and fishing, but as his son Randy put it, Ron really enjoyed life. He loved his family and friends. He was a longtime member of the Webber-Lefebvre Post 74 American Legion in Kennebunk, ME. Ron is dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Beverly; his sons, Randall Murray of Lyman and Kevin Murray and his wife, Tammy, of Kennebunk; his sister, Deloris White of Barefoot Bay, FL; 4 grandchildren, Ronald, Buck, Katherine and Nicholas; and 7 great-grandchildren, Emilia, Charlotte, Margeaux, Ryker, Damian, Brooke and Bayley. A graveside service with military honors at Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 1:00 PM.
