Doris Elsa Lyseng (nee Mielke) was born in Camrose, Alberta on May 16, 1934 and passed away quietly at Lakeview Lodge in West Kelowna, BC on November 14, 2020. She is survived by her loving husband Norman as well as her children, Lowell Lyseng (Donna) from Sherwood Park, Alberta, Katherine Williamson (Wes) from Auckland, New Zealand, Heather Lyseng from St. Albert, Alberta, and Allison Belt (Kerry) from Calgary, Alberta, her six grandchildren and four great-granddaughters. Doris held a deep love for her lifelong companion Norman, had a passionate faith for Jesus, and took great pride in raising her four children. She served her local church community faithfully and enjoyed gardening for as long as she was able to do so. Doris was always interested in the people she met while living in Camrose, Innisfail, Bowden, Peachland and West Kelowna, making many friends with neighbours and those in her church congregation. The family wishes to thank the staff at Lakeview Lodge for their enduring compassionate care during her time there.
