William "Bill" Marsh, Jr. Obituary

William Basil Marsh, Jr. (known to loved ones as “Captain”), 69, of Ellicott City, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020.

Bill was born to William Marsh, Sr. and Betty Marsh in Catonsville, MD. He lived a wonderful childhood and made many friends, with whom he had long lasting relationships into adulthood. He cherished all of them, as well as the countless more he made throughout the remainder of his life.

Bill married Jane McGarrigle on August, 28,1976. They had a wonderful marriage and two children, Christopher and Casey. He worked hard to take care of his family by building his successful company, Vehicle Outfitters.

He valued spending time with loved ones and enjoyed many activities including, cruising, fishing, cheering for the Ravens, hunting, and going out with family and friends. He was admired and respected by all who knew him.

His wife, Jane, tragically passed away after 32 years of marriage. After that time, Bill met his beloved girlfriend, Patricia White, who was by his side along with his children during his last days. He is survived by her, as well his son, Chris, daughter-in-law, Kat, daughter, Casey, and four wonderful grandchildren, Stella, Reagan, Cash, and Abigail. He is also survived by his sisters, Alean Mahala, Pamela Webb, and Kimberly Leutner, and many members of his extended family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, mother, father, father in law, and mother in law. (Jane Marsh, Betty Marsh, Bill Marsh Sr, Emory McGarrigle, Helen McGarrigle).

He was truly a wonderful man and always the life of the party. He was always so generous and loved helping others. Everyone he met immediately felt as if they were part of his family.

Captain will be greatly missed by all.
