Wilma Frances Wilburn, 79, of Grantsville, MD, died Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at Sterling Care at Frostburg Village, Frostburg, MD. Born July 8, 1941, at Mt. Storm, WV, she was the daughter of the late Alston & Audrey (Tephabock) Hanlin. Wilma was also preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Enlow, Doralee Jarrell and one brother, Dores Hanlin. Wilma was a secretary/stenographer for Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Beitzel Corporation, Delta Mining & ABL. She was a graduate of Northern High School, Class of 1959 & Catherman's Business School and was a member of St. Paul Wilhelm Church. Surviving is her husband of 56 years, James O. Wilburn, whom she married on September 5, 1964; two sons, Gregory Wilburn & wife, Laura, Darren Wilburn & wife, Amanda, all of Grantsville; one sister, Eloise Calhoun, Roanoke, VA; six grandchildren, Kenny Wilburn, Andrew Wilburn, Kayla Porter & husband, Hudson Sullivan, Luke Wilburn, Lydia Wilburn & Amelia Wilburn. A private graveside service will be held with interment in the Grantsville Cemetery. Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller Street, Grantsville, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
