Richard E. Dillon, 55, Royersford Richard Dillon, 55, husband to Margaret Updegraff Dillon, passed away Sunday November 15, 2020 in the Paoli Hospital. He was born January 12, 1965 in Norristown to the late Donald and the late Patricia Dillon. One of two boys, Richard grew up in Trappe most of his life. He was a 1982 graduate of Perkiomen Valley High School and continued his education in Economics at Ursinus College. Richard worked for Chester County in Tax Assessment. He enjoyed celebrating Philadelphia Sports and was an avid Penn State fan. He enjoyed long drives to Jim Thorpe, his Bull dog Harry the “K”, but his most prized joy was his grandchildren. Richard leaves behind his wife Margaret, two children: Keith Kline (husband of Heather) Royersford, and Devon Reynolds (wife of Joshua) Pottstown. Brother: Donald Dillon (husband of Maureen): nephews Michael (Rosa) Brian ( Amanda) niece: Allison Wood (Dean) and four grandchildren: Lily and Krew Kline, Aven and Teagan Reynolds. A Private family service will be held at 9:15 AM Friday November 20 in R. Strunk Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Phoenixville with Rev. Paul Thornhill officiating. Visitation for the public will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Friday, November 20 after the private service at R. Strunk Funeral Home. Masks are mandatory, social distancing will be expected. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Royersford Fire Department, 299 Walnut Street, Royersford, PA 19468.
