East Liverpool, Ohio- James Osburn, 84, of Michigan Avenue passed away Tuesday Morning, November 17, 2020 at 6:15 a.m. at his residence following a lengthy illness. Born June 20th, 1936, in Logan, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Oscar Osburn and the late Elouise Curtis Reece. A veteran of the United States Air Force, he spent most of his lifetime in this area, retiring as a laborer. He once worked at National Church Supply and then at Waterford Park. He leaves behind his wife of 63 years, Ana Cruz Osburn, whom he married February 18, 1957, at home. There are two daughters, Mary Heaton of Warren, Ohio and Patsy Johnson and her husband, Daniel of East Liverpool; four grandchildren, Veronica Parnell and her husband, Thomas, Andrea Heaton, Isabella Johnson and Gabrielle Johnson; three great-grandchildren, William James Parnell, Logan Paul Parnell and Mackenzie Parnell; and one brother, Brady Reece and his wife, Kelly of North Lima, Ohio. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Dorie Ann Osburn; one son-in-law, William Joseph Heaton, and one sister, Lillian White. Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home in East Liverpool, Ohio. A Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Blaise Catholic Parish in Midland, Pennsylvania. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park. In compliance with concerns of the COVID-19 virus, everyone attending the visitation and Mass is required to wear a mask and observe social distancing.
