Scott Francis Faber of El Dorado Hills, CA passed away on Sunday, November 8th at the age of 43. He is survived by his wife Sharee (Coad) Faber and daughters, Lia & Noa; parents Francis and Lois Faber; and sister Malinda Bryant (Rob) as well as his large extended family of in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Scott was originally from San Diego where he attended Rancho Bernardo High School. From there, he attended CSU Long Beach where he majored in Communications and was a gifted volleyball player. After college, Scott and his parents owned & operated a family business, Impulse. After selling the business, Scott’s love of volleyball led him to meeting Sharee. They eventually wed in 2008 and welcomed twin daughters in 2017.
Scott’s passion for the sport of volleyball inspired him and Sharee to establish Sierra Vista Volleyball Club, a competitive club located in El Dorado Hills. He was a beloved coach who helped inspire and develop many athletes over the years. Scott was known for his laid back, jovial, and generous spirit. He had a passion for family, youth & college sports, travel and his beloved dogs and cats.
A Celebration of Life for Scott will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to one of the following charities:
