It is with broken hearts that the family of the late EDWARD SPENCER of Marystown announces his passing. Edward passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center in Burin on Monday, November 16th, 2020 at the age of 80. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife Doreen of 40 years; sons, Eddie Spencer of New Brunswick, and Shayne Spencer (Alexis) of New Brunswick; daughter, Sandra Golding of Alberta; 6 grandchildren, Matthew, Kevin, Joshua, Kai, Raylene, and Shyanne ; brother, John Spencer (Rita) of Nova Scotia; sister, Sheila Bray (Frank) of Nova Scotia; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Edward was predeceased by his parents, John and Mary Spencer; daughter, Tina Spencer; son, Darren Spencer; sisters, Stella Olham, and Theresa McGaley; grandparents, Tom and Margaret Miller.

In order to maintain social distancing and to follow the public health advisory of COVID 19, a walk through visitation will take place at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Marystown on Thursday, November 19th and Friday, November 20th from 1pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm. Please note that no food or beverages are permitted at the funeral home at this time. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown on Saturday, November 21st at 10am.

Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Marystown.

In Edward’s memory, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Spencer Family.
