July 9, 1944 – November 10, 2020 With deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our husband, dad, papa, brother, and friend. Les passed with his family at his side on November 10, 2020. Les was a quiet compassionate person, who loved his family and time spent making memories we will hold in our hearts forever. He loved spending time with his granddaughters, and cherished Olde English Bulldogs, Patches, Minnie, and Panda. Les loved his road trips to the USA to go gambling, win or lose, it did not matter, it was always the time spent with his loving wife Sandy that meant the riches to him. He loved his family and that was always number one on his agenda and made any day special. We will miss you. Les is survived by his loving wife Sandy, daughters Kimberly Dawson, Lacey Dawson (Rylan), granddaughters Mikayla and Emma and sister Elsie Jackson (Stan). He was predeceased by his sister Vera Hannafin and his parents Donald & Marion Dawson. A private family Celebration of Life will be held. Arrangements entrusted to McPherson Funeral Services.
