William "Keith" Sunley

<p>William &quot;Keith&quot; Sunley passed away in the early morning of November 15, 2020, at the Minnedosa Personal Care Home. Keith was born September 17, 1938, in Hamiota to Ellery and Janet (Bell) Sunley, the eighth of nine children. Keith was raised on the farm at Decker, and took all of his schooling at Decker School.</p> <p>When Keith left home, he began working for CN/CP Telecommunications, living in various places such as Churchill, Thompson, The Pas, Dauphin, Saskatoon and Regina.</p> <p>After retiring, he moved to Neepawa into the Evergreen Apartments, eventually managing the building for a time. Due to deteriorating health, he moved to the Minnedosa Personal Care Home, where he spent his final years.</p> <p>Keith was a quiet, solitary man, who loved reading, crossword puzzles, T.V. and music. He liked to travel, and enjoyed trips to Hawaii, Alaska, and several places around Canada. He always was keeping up with what his siblings, nieces and nephews were up to. Keith had a quirky sense of humour, and was known to yell at the MP&rsquo;s on the Parliamentary Channel!</p> <p>Keith was predeceased by his parents, brothers and spouses, Bob (Edna), Russell (Ellen), Purve (Helen). Sisters and spouses, Belle (Fred) Butcher, and Gwen (Ed) Elliott. He was also predeceased by brother-in-law Garth Strachan, and sister-in-law Jean Sunley.</p> <p>Keith is survived by brothers and spouses, John (Sheila) and Lyle (Gwen). His sister, Jean Strachan also survives him. Keith is also remembered by is special caregiver, niece, Ivy (Dave) Cameron, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.</p> <p>As per Keith&rsquo;s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a graveside service will be held in 2021 at the Isabella Cemetery.</p>
