Kathryn E. Huston Larson, 93 passed away on Saturday morning November 14th at Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born and educated in Schenectady, Kathryn was the daughter of the late Wallace and Harriett (Brimar) Huston and a graduate of Draper High School. A homemaker, (Kathryn) was a member of the Amity Reformed Church ,where she directed the choir for many years. Her love of church music was well known as was her love and devotion to her family. Predeceased by her husband of more than 51 years, Richard D. Larson, Kathryn is survived by her children, Timothy Larson (Evelyn) of Malta, Carolyn Lansing (Pieter) of Schenectady and Thomas Larson of Rotterdam, her 6 grandchildren Zoe, Samuel, Benjamin and Daisy Lansing and Victoria and Gabriella Larson, sister-in-law,Ruth Larson and her many nieces and nephews A private graveside ceremony will take place in November. A celebration of Kathryn’s life will be held at the Amity Reformed Church, Rexford in the spring at a time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Kathryn's memory to a local food pantry in your area.
