Harvey Kurtz Sproul, Jr., 72, of Bellefonte passed away at his home. He was born on January 10, 1948 in Lock Haven, a son of the late Harvey K. and Ruth C. Kling Sproul . 

Harvey proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict where he attained the rank of Sargent and received several commendations and citations. He enjoyed farming and attending auctions.

He is survived by his daughter, Mitzie ( Jason ) Laird of Snydertown and two grandchildren, Dustin and Ceira Laird.

Private services will be held at the families convenience. Memorial contributions may be made to any Veterans organization that assists vets dealing with PTSD.
